Thanks for your service, I would be honored to be your buddy. Shep (295)

Won't you grant me FULL ACCESS? After all, all it does is shows your buddies and their albums. That is it. No personal stuff and can't access it. With it, it makes your WB not look like a visitor to your WB. Sadly, I will drop our buddy connection in a week. Thanks, David

Hi Mudsprings, I see you are very proud of your son - which you should be. Commanding any submarine is a big accomplishment and something to be very proud of. My submarine service was in the mid 1960's, served aboard two diesel electrics and 2 nuclear attack boats. My biggest adventure was aboard the USS Shark (SSN-591) in 1963 and 1964. I first served aboard the USS Balao (AGSS-285), I have to say, standing watch in the "shears" going around Cape Hatteras during a powerful storm was very interesting. Anyway, thanks for befriending me, and I hope all goes well for you and your family this Holiday Season. All the Best, Tony

My younger son was on three attack submarines. The Boise, Scranton and Chicago. His last one was the USS Louisiana SSBN 743 a Boomer which he commanded. He has been in the Submarine Corps since 1991 when he graduated from the Naval Academy. He now is stationed in Honolulu. Not on a submarine. He has a beautiful wife and is the father of my four grandchildren.
