IMHO, I see you work at a casino. That's even a bigger ripoff than the insurance industry. Anyone who has half a brain about how the casino industry works knows the odds are always with the house. That's the reason I explicitly told the investment advisor that has virtually all of my free worth not to put my money into casinos. Only stupid people go there unless their high school reunion is in a casino, then the smart people limit what the casino gets from them to food, drink, and room. (I have been in a casino exactly once. It was for my 25h anniversary high school reunion. I was elected "brainiest" in my high school class.) I do spend the time it takes to get the GasBuddy tickets but that's just about enough gaming for me.

>Insurance is a ripoff< You BELIEVE that. I KNOW it is not a ripoff because my insurance company (a large mutual company) loses money almost consistently on their underwriting operations. And, if they have too much profit, they do give back some of the premiums and it's counted as a tax-free return of the premium you paid in the first place. They only turn a profit because they can invest the reserves the Government makes them have in the first place. My insurance agent said their insurance is "CHEAP" and I sat down and read the balance sheet that my insurance company sends out every year but at least 99 44/100ths of policyholders never read. Maybe you should try a different insurance company. IMHO, start with ones that don't have to answer to Wall Street.
